The build quality of the pulse oximeter is plastic built with a decent clip. It comes along with an artificial material pouch with carrying string.
Features
BPL Smart Oxy Finger Tip Pulse Oximeter can measure SPO2 value, which is blood oxygen saturation. It also gives a reading of pulse rate, perfusion index, and plethysmograph. The accuracy of this pulse oximeter is ±2% which is decent for everyday usage.
You can also set the alarm function, which will start beeping when the SpO2 value goes below 94% saturation or the pulse rate goes above 130 or below 50 beats per minute. This setting can be changed from the settings menu to suit your need by increasing or reducing the alarm limit.
The brightness of the display can also be changed, but the default brightness of 4 is more than enough for routine usage indoors.
I have also used Dr. Trust Professional Series Pulse oximeter, and there is hardly any difference between the two apart from an extra button for the settings on the latter.
Verdict
Overall BPL Medical Technologies BPL Smart Oxy Finger Tip Pulse Oximeter is a good buy, but the price according to me is high.
