Drinking alcohol is found to increase the occurrence of various types of Cancers in people. Research studies like systematic review and meta-analysis have shown that alcohol increases the risk of getting cancer by up to 5 times. Common cancers caused by alcohol are liver cancer, breast cancer, oral cancer, pharyngeal cancer, laryngeal cancer and colorectal cancer.
