We had reviewed Automatic Blood Pressure (BP) Monitor HEM-7121 by Omron. In the user manual of this BP monitor, there were many instructions which had to be followed for accurate measurement of the blood pressure.
In this video, we have shown instructions about the position of arm cuff with respect to the heart. As per the instructions, the arm cuff has to be at the level of the heart. We have tested various positions of arm cuff and main unit of BP monitor to see how these multiple permutations in the position of the main unit of BP monitor and arm cuff can lead to inaccurate readings of BP and how to best position to minimize these errors.
